Services – Comic Book Pressing Service

PRE-SCREEN
We screen comic books to make sure they are good candidates for our Pressing Services.This service includes placing books under color-corrected lighting to check for fixable defects:warping,moisture damage,ripples among other defects prior to pressing. (Included in Pressing Price)

PRESSING
This includes comic book pressing to remove dents,bends,spine curls,subscription creases,spine dents,moisture ripples,and all other non-color breaking creases.(Included in Pressing Price)

DRY CLEANING
Is used to remove grime,pencil marks,surface dirt,light stains,and other funky stuff from the covers of comic books.We use various advanced techniques to clean these areas, we are able to clean the white areas and the color areas of the books.Dry cleaning is “DRY” meaning no liquid solvents or water based solutions are used to clean the books.We always stick to non-restoration techniques,we like our customers to receive blue label CGC`s.(Included in Pressing Price)

BASIC RESTORATION CHECK
We do a visual check under color corrected lighting then a infrared lighting check for color touch up,leaf casting and other restoration.This is a basic check we can not guarantee there is no restoration,but we do our best to check your books, we are 99% accurate.(Included in Pressing Price)

TEXT TO SMART PHONE
For all new clients we can send before/after images of your comics (up to 5 comics) to your smartphone device.Clients love this feature and our excited to see their comics as they are being finished.(Included in Pressing Price)

CGC SUBMISSION
Simply we submit your comics to the CGC grading company.(rates vary depending on CGC tier).

CBCS SUBMISSION
We submit your books to CBCS. (rates vary depending on CBCS tier).
